Questions
Does it change my Unity project?
A little, in the open: one line in Packages/manifest.json, the engine package, a .sspace/ folder and MCP registration for your agents. All of it but the manifest line is gitignored for you. See What changes in your project.
What is the Tuner?
A small Unity editor in a panel: hierarchy, scene view, Unity's real Inspector and an animation timeline, in Edit or Play Mode. An agent opens one on just what needs tuning, with the rest of the scene in gray and the moment already set up, and Copy Changes hands your edits back to it. See The Tuner.
Do I have to open the Unity Editor?
No. It runs hidden and streams into a panel. Reveal shows the real window of the same process, with no relaunch. See Reveal the editor.
How is this different from a Unity MCP server?
An MCP server hands your agent the editor. Satura Space also runs it hidden, streams the game to you, and has the agent drive the game through your handles, record the run and leave you a report.
Which coding agents work?
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, Kimi and opencode, from your PATH. The first three get the Unity MCP server registered automatically. See Supported agents.
Does my game or code leave my machine?
No. Frames move over a shared GPU texture and everything else over local loopback. There's no telemetry and no crash reporting. Your agents talk to their own providers, as they always do. If you use Satura Remote, what reaches your phone is end-to-end encrypted. See Privacy.
Can Satura see what my agents do on my phone?
No. Satura Remote is end-to-end encrypted between your phone and your computer, and the keys never leave your devices. Our relay only passes sealed frames along, so it can't read your terminals, code, files, prompts or the game stream. It does see routing metadata such as your account email, IP address, connection times and message sizes. See Security.
Who is Drift?
A small pixel jellyfish that shows you around the app. Ask the agent what something is, or press Ask Drift in a Tuner, and Drift flies the camera to it and points at the fields while the agent explains. It stays out of the way otherwise.
Can I run more than one copy of the game?
Yes. Up to three multiplayer clones run beside the primary editor, and they boot in seconds because they share your Library. Agents can also run their own scratchpad projects beside them. See Multiplayer clones and Scratchpads.
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. Satura Space doesn't resell tokens or ask for an API key; bring your own AI subscription. Only Satura Remote needs an account.
What does it cost?
The desktop app is free and open source under Apache-2.0. Satura Remote is the paid part. See pricing.
Troubleshooting
The project won't launch
Check Active Input Handling. If it's Input Manager (Old) or Both, Unity won't start in Satura Space, and agent calls fail with InputSystemRequired. Switch it to Input System Package (New) and install com.unity.inputsystem. See Requirements.
Clicks don't reach my UI
uGUI needs an EventSystem with InputSystemUIInputModule. StandaloneInputModule gets no clicks, and UnityEngine.Input throws in Play Mode.
Unity doesn't start, or waits for Unity Hub
The app waits for a signed-in Unity Hub before it launches an editor. Open Unity Hub and sign in. If the project's Unity version isn't installed, install it in Unity Hub; the relaunch waits while you do.
The first boot is slow
A project without a Library folder imports everything on its first boot, and so does a new scratchpad. Later boots are faster. Adding the first multiplayer clone can also take minutes.
The editor is blocked by a dialog
A modal dialog halts Unity's main thread. The agent's call returns DialogBlocked with the dialog's contents in about a second, and the agent can press a button with unity.answer and retry.
An agent says Unity stopped or didn't start
Agent waits end early with the reason: Unity isn't running, exited, didn't start, or showed no progress for 30 seconds. The agent reads the editor log, fixes what it shows, such as compile errors, and relaunches. If Unity Hub isn't running or a relaunch doesn't help, it asks you.
Screenshots, video or the Tuner fail with NoGraphicsError
The session is in Headless NoGraphics mode, which has no picture. Switch it to Normal or Headless Graphics. See Headless modes.
A code change didn't apply in Play Mode
Hot reload covers method bodies only. New fields, methods, types, handles and changed signatures need Play Mode stopped and a normal recompile. A patched Awake or Start only affects objects spawned afterwards. See C# hot reload.
My Play Mode edits are gone
Unity drops scene values when play stops, and so does the Tuner. In a Tuner, Copy Changes gives the agent each Play Mode change as a before and after, so it can write them in Edit Mode. Asset edits in Play Mode are saved right away.
Report a bug
Report a bug in the app fills in your version and OS. You can also open an issue on GitHub. For a security problem, don't open a public issue: see Security.
