Install
Download the app, set up Unity and an agent CLI, and open your first project.
Satura Space is a desktop app. You download it once, and it updates itself from the same place.
Download
Get the latest release from GitHub Releases or the download page:
| Platform | File |
|---|---|
| macOS on Apple Silicon | .dmg |
| Windows x64 | .exe |
Intel Macs and Linux are not supported. Release builds are signed on both platforms, and macOS builds are notarized.
Updates
The app checks GitHub Releases for updates and installs them from there. Only the latest release gets security fixes, and a restart is usually all it takes to get one.
What you need
- Unity 6 and Unity Hub, signed in. The app runs your project at its exact Unity version through Unity Hub. It waits for a signed-in Hub before it launches an editor. If the project's Unity version is missing, the relaunch waits while you install it in Unity Hub.
- A coding agent CLI on your PATH. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, Kimi or opencode. See Supported agents.
- Your own AI subscription. Satura Space doesn't resell tokens or ask for an API key. Your agent signs in to its provider the way it always does.
- A project on the Input System. Unity starts only when Active Input Handling is set to Input System Package (New) and
com.unity.inputsystemis installed. See Requirements.
You don't need an account. Only Satura Remote asks for one.
First launch
The start screen lets you add an existing Unity project folder or create a new Unity project. When the app opens a project, it:
- adds the SDK to
Packages/manifest.jsonand puts its engine package in the project, - creates a
.sspace/folder for its own state, - registers the Unity MCP server for your agents,
- launches a hidden Unity editor and streams it into a panel.
The details are in What changes in your project. The first boot of a project without a Library folder imports everything, so it takes longer than later boots.
Heads up. Open only projects you trust. Adding a folder to Satura Space runs the code it carries: the Unity editor runs the project's editor scripts, and dashboard alerts, widgets and reports in the project run in the app.
Start working
The New session (+) button opens an agent, a Unity Player, the Unity Console, a Tuner, Scratchpads, Reports, Git or a plain terminal. Every tab can be dragged into the middle of a panel to join it or to an edge to split it.
Start an agent and give it a task. It drives Unity through the MCP server, and you watch and play the game in the Unity Player panel. Play is Ctrl/Cmd+P.
Build from source
